Hi, My name is Julie and welcome to my blog Off to the park.
I am a Mum to two girls, who I refer to as Popette & Cherub, who live with my Hubby and I in the beautiful Blue Mountains located west of Sydney.
A little bit about me
I'm a chocolate, coffee and red wine addict (ok probably not all together!), and passionate about writing, art, and being creative.
I love spending time either in the kitchen baking up something sweet, writing here, doodling in my art journal, taking photos or painting.
Chocolate Ganache tart with strawberries | one of my drawings | I love Paris! | I like painting lemons |
What do I like to write about I hear you say?
I created Off to the Park in 2010 as a place to share my thoughts, joys and feelings of motherhood.
The girls and I love to paint or make craft together, and have often shared our craft ideas here.
You will also see me record moments of gratitude, and share endless stories of my two sweet girls.
I love to draw and paint so you will find my Instagram account busy with my latest creations.
I am continually searching for things that make me happy and inspire me as a painter and crafty Mumma. I love to hear from my readers, so if you have enjoyed something that I have written I would love to hear from you!
Here are a few of my favourite posts
* The day I became a Mum
* Becoming a Mummy
* My breastfeeding scars
* What blogging means to me
Thanks for stopping by.

G'day Julie, found your blod through purebloggers
ReplyDeletean interesting read
Hi Brisman, Thanks! I hope you visit again soon :)
ReplyDeleteWe love the Blue Mountains too! My husband and I used to go there for weekends away all the time, and we've had one family holiday there since having kids. Such a beautiful place, you're very blessed to live there!
ReplyDeleteRonnie xo
Hi Ronnie,
DeleteThanks :) We used to do that too before we moved up here! We've been living here 11 years and just love it here.
Hi Julie
ReplyDeleteI love reading your blog, and just wanted to give you a friendly blogger to blogger hello! Also I wanted to let you know, perhaps you have it on purpose, but your comments have captcha on them. It makes it tricky to comment sometimes because I just can't read the letters and numbers. I have been known to try five times and then just give up! Just FYI and if you like captcha then that's good, each blogger to their own :) See you in the blogosphere x
Hi Kylie, Thanks for letting me know about captcha, I hadn't realised so have turned it off, hopefully it'll make it easier for people to leave their comments :)
DeleteThanks for your lovely comment, I love reading your blog too, when I get a spare minute or two!
Take care,
x
